Site Operative - Avonmouth, Bristol £14.00

Hours of work for the for the Site Operative in Avonmouth are 40 hours a week the working hours will be 6.00am to 4.00pm.

The job summary is to maintain hygiene standards to the maximum. To assist in the control and operation of the plant and factory which includes the flow of the products. Using the systems and equipment to manufacture the products to the quality required to meet the company and customers standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out silo duties, which includes intake of the product and transferring the products from the silo into the Mill.
* Operating the Weighbridge and keeping accurate records of the stock
* Assist the production team in the operation and control of the plant equipment, operating systems and finished product handling.
* Perform hygiene duties
* Sampling and analysis of raw materials. Internal Stocks and finished products.
* Support other site functions when the need arises
* Carry out integrated pest management inline with company procedures and standards
* Assist the engineering department to carry out plant maintenance

The key attributes to this role are Problem solving, organisational and planning skills and to be work well within a team environment.
